Scheffer has steadily continued to develop load-stabilized cranes in the last few years through constant collaboration with the steel trade and with individual requirements from the steel trade. This solution has therefore prevailed, compared to the increasingly complex tasks in the steel trade. Well devised construction and manufacture of the cranes allow high availability with the related long useful life of Scheffer cranes.

The combination of customers` individual wishes and a flexibly executed technology to offer a tried and tested product together with the steel trade and also for it. The main advantage for the operator of Scheffer load- stabilized cranes lies in the mechanical load-stabilization. The oscillation movements arising with the acceleration and braking movements in the direction of the crane and the trolley no longer appear here.

Scheffer offers a slanted cable tensioning here which was developed in our own company and which also has considerably less wear on the cable than a comparable principle because of its principle of construction. The mechanical load-stabilization unit is also supported by frequency-controlled drives for all the axes. Scheffer uses this to guarantee smooth operations in all the directions of movement which ultimately greatly extends the useful life of the Scheffer crane. The degree of acceptance amongst the customers for load-stabilized Scheffer cranes is a claim and an obligation at the same time to continue using our own developments and to continue delivering crane plants by working together with our customers with a view to the market and with individual customer requirements in mind.
