Gripper cranes from Scheffer are used internationally for tough permanent operations for bulk goods. The main characteristics are the extremely sturdy construction and the refined drive systems and the SPS S7 control units which are ideally and reliably suitable for 24 hour operations for transporting the widest possible range of materials such as wood, EBS, sewage sludge or plaster. All the gripper cranes are always manufactured with 4 wheel drive and a SPS control unit: delivery with a PC operating surface is also possible by request. An ISDN modem for remote servicing is also part of the scope of delivery. Various software applications have already been realised in consultation with our customers: these include double trolley operations, repositioning, mixing / homogenising, mixing new material and unloading ships, amongst other items. A tailor made solution is also possible for your special application of course.
